While on a date in 2015, I attempted to re-visit locations I used to frequent around the city of El Paso. I found most were gone and in their place were CVS, Domino’s Pizza, and franchise fast food restaurants. Could not believe the locally owned places I frequented had all but disappeared. So after some research, I made this piece to show the slaughter of locally owned logos by the more established mascots of our city with the local schools spelling out their fates.
