Have always loved the work of Gustave Dore. As an appreciation, I wanted to make a piece using various of his images to create one of my own. Using Greek mythology, I portrayed the piece as a first person account of a view of the River Styx with Hades off in the distance. Both Charon, the boatman, and Jesus walking on water, can be seen in all the activity as well as a couple of Circles of Hell from Dante’s Inferno.
