One day while watching the 1988 sci-fi/horror film, “They Live,” an idea sprung up on making a collage with “Obey” as the centerpiece. I used religious aspects to deify the aliens in the film with various political & conspiracy theory elements in the piece. The background is the White House on fire from the War of 1812 to further give a sense of hopelessness & defeat.
